lots of benefits

Calendula tea supposedly has health benefits. Based on my Internet research, Marigold and Calendula are not one and the same. Therefore, I assume this Marigold tea is actually pot marigold which is calendula because it says calendula in the description and brewing instructions on the Amazon site.I brewed two teaspoons of dried flowers in one cup of boiling water and let it steep for 20 minutes with the top of my tea mug covered to keep in the warmth. The resulting brew was a beautifully clean golden yellow. Unfortunately, it is almost tasteless as a tea but I do detect a chamomile-like aroma. It is as if I am drinking water, which I happen to love. Next time I will brew three teaspoons (i.e. one tablespoon). There are no instructions on the bag.Per the bag, this can be used for aromatherapy, in potpourri, bath salt blends, etc.In summary, the petals smell great and the brew is beautiful but the tea is practically flavorless. Nevertheless, there are a lot of health benefits in drinking this tea.

best for tea

This is a flower tea, with single ingredient, just marigold flowers. It smells good and taste good. The infusion process is straightforward, using boiling water to steep for a while, and then I can enjoy the delicious tea. It is a tea making me feel relaxed. Also there’s no caffeine in the tea, good to drink even at night.

amaizing smell

It smells good right when you open the package. And it is so bright. Calendula is a great herb to have around. I am going to add this to our salads because it will add some bright colors to it. And read up on Calendula. Every summer I grow calendula and save petals. This year none of it came up (it was an odd year for gardens). So, I am so glad to have this around. you can eat it (it tastes ok). You can put this in soap. You can put this in potporri. Whatever you want. You can stuff it all in a jar tightly and cover it in a good cooking/skin oil. Put in in a dark place for like a month and then filter the petals out and you will have calendula-infused oil which is a good thing to have around!

good smell

If you are thinking about what it smells like to put your nose down into a crop of marigold flowers as being what this tea might taste like, most likely you would be wrong. The tea is much smoother and more pleasant. I've never really cared for the scent of marigold flowers, but I very much like this tea. It's an herbal tea that is very easy to drink without the addition of any sort of sweeteners or other ingredients one might usually add to their teas. In fact, if you've never tried this before, I would highly suggest that you try it first with nothing and then add very small amounts of whatever if you desire something added. It's a very clean tea that is soothing and gentle to the system.I started drinking various teas that included calendula, or marigold, when it was one of several ingredients added to blends. So I at least had some idea of what to expect. It's not acidic at all. Very mellow. Eventually I found myself intentionally drinking some of these blends after I kept reading about how calendula is very soothing for various inflammations and other body eruptions. About a year ago I was suffering from some unknown irritation in my digestive tract. Still to this day I have no idea what that was and my doctor saw no disturbance. Whenever I drank a tea containing calendula, it soothed whatever it was that was going wrong down there. I don't know if it will aid in upset stomachs, but I found that it definitely healed whatever other sort of disturbance was going on in that area. This tea is very good by itself or you can mix it in with any of your other teas to make your own blend. Also, you can take the liquor from the tea and make your own poultice to use topically for various skin eruptions. Whether you use this as part of your diet or as an ingredient for your homemade remedies, this is a wonderful item to keep on hand.
